AboutPlatform: Android.
Engine/Language: Unity Engine, C#. Development Time: 2 Days. Roles: Programmer, Designer. Purpose: To be used by university students to calculate how much money they have to spend on a daily schedule. Features: Automatic calculating current money available, calculated pay per day, calculated income after bills, calculated cost of bills, calculator to take away or add extra money. The Idea: The money tracker was an idea I had whilst I was studying at university. I was finding it very hard to manage my money and other apps that were available on the market only helped with money on a monthly basis which I found wasn't helping as I would spend more at the start and less at the end. This is where the main idea for a daily money tracker came from. How It Works: The user requires the following for the app to work correctly: Enter all direct debits, enter SAAS payments for the year, enter total income for the month. The app will then calculate the following: Calculated pay per day, Income per month, Income after bills, Calculated cost of bills, and this is displayed to user on the front page every time they open the app. If the user spends any money they need to go onto the app, press the button in the bottom left and enter the amount of money that was spent - this will reduce the total money available. If the user makes an error by pressing the button in the bottom right the user can add money. Extras: The app also features a 3d model of artist Mac Miller and was my first attempt at 3d modelling. I have also used this app for 3 years and still continue to do so. |
